When governments and others determine policies or systems that are unjust or harmful to sections of society it is the time to speak out. This is what should happen in democracy, not that we are always heard, nor agreed with. As a proponent of non-violence, I trained people and organisations who wanted to voice their concerns democratically and non-violently.
